Citadel Homes is proud to partner with the Nova Scotia government to deliver a new, 8‑unit modular housing development in Digby.
Modular 8‑plex, deeply affordable public housing
This innovative 8‑plex is part of a province-wide initiative to build 515 new public housing units—the largest such investment in over 30 years.
Our role involved manufacturing and assembling the modular units off-site in 16 prefabricated sections—like “Lego” pieces—to accelerate construction and minimize on-site disruption.
The eightplex is poised to welcome 24 new residents—seniors, families, and individuals—who will benefit from safe, affordable, rent-geared-to-income housing. It joins dozens of modular units already completed in Glace Bay, Springhill, and Digby
